This Saturday marks the final Highlands Farmers’ Market of the year — the closing day of a long-standing community tradition that’s been running all season in Huddy Park. Since June, the Highlands Business Partnership has hosted the 31st Annual Farmers’ Market every Saturday morning, bringing fresh local produce, homemade goods, and coastal community energy to the heart of town.
From 8:30 AM to 2 PM, the market fills Bay and Waterwitch Avenues with everything we love about “Jersey Fresh.” You’ll find ripe fruits and vegetables, herbs, flowers, baked goods, and some of the freshest local specialties anywhere on the Monmouth County coast.
Two of the market’s longtime anchors — Hauser Hill Farms of Old Bridge and Fresh Pik Farms of East Windsor — have participated for 30 seasons, making them part of Highlands’ weekend rhythm for decades.
Beyond produce, the market features a rotating mix of local favorites, including:
- Homemade breads & pies
- Fresh pasta, ravioli & specialty meats
- Local cheeses & eggs
- Honey & handmade soaps
- Skin care products
- Fresh juice and more
It’s one of those simple traditions that makes Highlands feel like Highlands — neighbors catching up, families strolling through Huddy Park, and local businesses shining.
As the season wraps up, it’s a great chance to stop by, support the vendors who’ve been with us all summer, and grab your final round of fall produce before winter settles in.
