Wednesday, January 21, 2026 – Highlands Borough Council Meeting
The Highlands Borough Council will hold its regular public meeting at 7:00 PM at the Municipal Building, 151 Navesink Avenue. Residents are encouraged to attend and participate.

Tuesday, February 3, 2026 – Casual Birder Walk
A guided bird walk will take place at Bayshore Waterfront Park in Port Monmouth beginning at 9:00 AM. This program is open to all experience levels and focuses on identifying local winter bird species.

Sunday, January 25, 2026 – Ropework on the Farm
Historic Longstreet Farm in Holmdel will host a hands-on demonstration from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM showcasing traditional rope making and knot techniques used in the late 1800s.

Sunday, January 25, 2026 – Brook Trout Nature Talk
A one-hour educational program about New Jersey’s state fish, the brook trout, will be held at Freneau Woods Park Visitor Center in Aberdeen from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
